Our Ministries

Parent/Baby Dedication

Recognizing that our children belong to God and following the example of Hannah in 1 Samuel 1:23-28, parents make a public commitment to raise and train their children according to God’s Word. Our Pastors pray the prayer of commitment and blessing over parents and children during the ceremony, and parents receive a certificate of dedication.  Ages for dedication are 4 years and younger; however, exceptions can be made for children older than 4.  Please call our Church office at (505) 433-5224 if you’d like to schedule a ceremony.

Addiction Recovery

Chain Breakers is a ministry that provides a non-judgmental atmosphere where men and women can share experience, strength, and hope directly related to the problem of drug and alcohol addiction in themselves or a family member.

Each meeting is a regular time of:

  • Fellowship where the addicted and their family members can share their struggles and victories.
  • Support with prayer.
  • Support with friendship.
  • Studying God’s Word, the Bible, for strength and guidance.
Classes will begin January of 2017. Please call our Church Office at (505) 433-5224 if you’d like more information.

The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure. (1 Corinthians 10:13)

Women’s Ministry

God’s Word empowers women in all walks of life to influence their worlds – at home, on the job and in the community. Through bible studies, fellowship, and a variety of activities women are encouraged to achieve their highest potential in Christ. There is also a Ladies Breakfast every second Sunday of the month at 9AM

Men’s Ministry

Our Men’s Ministry is currently under construction and will begin meeting in January of 2017.

I am leaving you with a gift — peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid. (John 14:27)

Funerals

Prayer, support , and compassion, are our first response to families who have lost loved ones. Next, our Pastoral staff is available to conduct funeral services for church members and their immediate family. Call our Church Office at (505) 433-5224 if we can serve you in this area.

Hospital Visitation

Prayer partners are eager to share the Word of God concerning health and healing and are equipped to pray in faith for our members of our church family in their time of need. Call our Church Office at (505) 433-5224 to inform us of an anticipated or unexpected hospital stay.

Kids

Youth Ministries

Our youth ministry, Gravity, meets every Wednesday at 6 p.m.

BAPTISM

How do I know it’s time to be baptized?

Have you accepted Christ as your Savior and confessed him as Lord of your life? The Bible says the next step is water baptism.

How old do you have to be in order to be baptized?

We want everyone to wait to baptize a child until the child has made a knowledgeable decision to follow Christ. They need to understand what it means to repent of their sin and to turn to God. We wouldn’t recommend anyone getting baptized before age 10.

What do I need to Bring?

You need a dark shirt and dark shorts or pants, a change of clothes and towel.

What can I expect the day of my baptism?

Arrive at the church by 4:00 p.m. the day of your baptism. You will attend a class about baptism and immediately following will be the Baptism Ceremony.
